Obituary

Joseph Armand Beausoleil 84, of Shore Dr. in Blackstone died in Winter Haven Hospital in Florida. He was the husband of Enola (Hawthorne) Newman Beausoleil and the late Claire (Jodoin) Beausoleil. Mr. Beausoleil was born in Manchester, NH a son of the late Israel and Lydia (Lavoie) Beausoleil. He was a Government Supplier Certification Specialist for the Federal Government for over thirty years. Mr. Beausoleil was a US Marine and served in WWII. He was a CYO Leader and Basketball Coach for St. Theresa's Parish in Blackstone. He served on the Town of Blackstone Finance Committee and was an Auxiliary Police Officer. Mr. Beausoleil was an avid athlete and was proud to run in the Boston Marathon while in his sixties.

Besides his wife, he leaves three sons Robert and Paul Beausoleil both of Blackstone, and John Beausoleil of North Smithfield; four daughters Constance Brady of Pascoag, Jo-Ann Caron of Whitinsville, Janice Limoges and Linda Dandeneau both of Blackstone; three brothers Aime, Roger and Leo Beausoleil all of CT; four step children Rhonda, James, Linda, and Jill all of FL, twenty nine grandchildren, and thirty one great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Marc Beausoleil, two brothers, Henry and Joseph Beausoleil, and step son Ernest.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa's Church, Rathbun St. Blackstone. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 PM.
