Mr. Mark J. Litalien, of Taunton died Thursday, December 17 in the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Brenda
(Bennett) Litalien. He was born 54 years ago in Leominster, the son of Jean (Auger) Doucet and the late Alfred Litalien. He was educated in Leominster, having graduated from St. Bernard’s Grammar School and Notre Dame High School, and had attended the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. Prior to his illness, he had been a self-employed contractor, operating the B and M Home Improvement Co. of Taunton for a number of years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Litalien was a 32nd Degree Mason, and was Past Master of the Wilder Lodge, A.F. & A.M. in Leominster. He was also a member of the Shriners, having served as Provost Guard of the Aleppo Temple in Wilmington. He was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Leominster.
In addition to his wife, of Taunton and his mother, of Leominster, he leaves:

several other family members
Mr. Litalien was also the brother of the late Alan Litalien of Oklahoma.
A Visitation will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Tuesday, December 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
