Elizabeth M. (Blagdon) Roth, 90, of Medway, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Geriatric Authority of Milford. She was the wife of Edwin F. Roth who died in 1983.
Born in Boston on March 3, 1919, she was a daughter of the late George and Josephine (Lunney) Blagdon.
Mrs. Roth was a resident of Medway for the past 15 years. She formerly resided in the Mission Hill section of Boston and graduated from Mission High School.
Retiring in the mid 1980’s, she worked at New England Telephone Co. for 15 years.
Mrs. Roth was a member of the Medway Senior Center and loved doing crafts.
She is survived by her son, Edwin J. Roth of Milford and three daughters, Kathryn J. Regan, Mary E. Siegel and Jeanne M. Doherty, all of Medway.
She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren
She was a sister of the late Thomas W. Blagdon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, December 21 from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.
Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury at a later date.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m.
