Whitman – Ada G. (Suprynowicz) Giniewicz 93, died Friday December 18 after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles S. Giniewicz.
Born and raised in Whitman she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Sophie (Stankiewicz) Suprynowicz.
Ada a life long resident of Whitman attended Whitman Schools and was a communicant of the Holy Ghost Church. She worked for over 22 years at the once famous Commonwealth Shoe of Whitman.
She loved her home and flowers, but her greatest joy come from the time spent with her family.
She is survived by her loving daughters Janet Cohen of Brockton, Barbara Giniewicz of Whitman, and Carol Joubert of Holbrook. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Mary Malinowski.
Her funeral service will be held Tuesday December 22 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman followed by a mass at 9:00 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland. Visiting hours will be held Monday December 21 from 3-7 PM.
