REHOBOTH – Earl Roy Bubier, the husband of Dolores M. (Leazott) Bubier, died at Longmeadow of Taunton on Dec. 17, 2009.
He was 81.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Harold A. and Germaine (Roy) Bubier.
Educated in Pawtucket schools, he later served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Bubier, a metal fabricator, was employed by General Dynamics in Groton, CT for over 32 years, retiring in 1990.
Besides his wife of Rehoboth, he leaves two sons, Wayne R. Bubier of Rehoboth, and Gary L. Bubier of Taunton; a daughter, Lynda J. Bixler of Rutherfordton, NC; a brother, Raymond Bubier of Pawtucket, RI; four grandchildren, Mathew and Seth Bixler, and Joseph L. and Megan L. Bubier; a great granddaughter, Madison Bixler; 2 nieces and a nephew.
Calling Hours will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, Dec. 22nd from 5 to 7 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Services will follow at 7 p.m.
Interment is private.
