Patricia A. “Patsy” (O’Connor) Spaulding, 77 years of Brockton died Thursday December 17, 2009 at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital. She was the former wife and companion of John Jay Spaulding. She was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Patrick Owen and Anna (McEaney) O’Connor. Mrs. Spaulding was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1949 and a retired employee of New England Telephone Company. She also worked at Sargent’s Supply and Eldio’s restaurant. Her hobby was floral arrangements and she enjoyed art work.
In addition to her former husband, she is survived by a brother Thaddeus O’Connor of Brockton, a sister Veronica Lavelle of Sandown, NH, nephews Keith O’Connor of Stoughton, Christopher O’Connor of Brockton, Shaun O’Connor of Old Towne Maine, Timothy Lavelle and Thaddeus Lavelle both of Sandown, NH, nieces Kolleen Carchio of Lakeville and Shannon Lavelle of Sandown, NH. She was the mother of the late Jay P. Spaulding and sister of the late John J. O’Connor.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 10:30am followed by a funeral mass in St. Ann Church, W. Bridgewater at 11:30am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
