Mrs. Betty D. (Marsch) Proulx, of Taunton, died Wednesday, December 16 in the Blue Hills Rehabilitation Center, Stoughton, following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Henry T. Proulx, Sr. She was born 86 years ago in Taunton,
the daughter of the late Charles D. and Mildred E. (Duley) Marsch. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the former Mueller Catering Service of Taunton for 15 years. Mrs. Proulx
was a member of the Union Congregational Church in Taunton.
She leaves:
1 son: Henry T. Proulx, Jr., and his wife, Andrea of Taunton
1 brother: James E. Marsch of New Jersey
2 sisters: Sara Bakon of California
Priscilla C. Devine of Dennis
2 grandchildren: Rose and Edward Proulx both of Taunton
several nieces and nephews
Mrs. Proulx was also the sister of the late Charles D. Marsch, Jr. and Mildred Tripp
both of Taunton.
Her Funeral Service will be held at the Union Congregational Church, 265 West Britannia Street, on Tuesday, December 22 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Fox Cemetery, Berkley. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be
held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Monday, from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Union Congregational Church, 265 W,Britannia St., Taunton, Ma., 02780.
