Deborah “Bowchi” Chin, 46, of Goffstown, NH, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Elliott Hospital in Manchester, NH after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the life partner for 17 years of Cheryl Cooper.
Deborah came to the U.S.A. when she was 5 years old, the daughter of Lorna and Wain Chin. She was raised and educated in MA. She attended Boston University and moved to New Hampshire in 1999, where she was happily employed at FedEx Kinkos for many years. Deborah enjoyed life and loved her job 110%. She loved to travel, especially cruising the Caribbean. She was a car enthusiast as well as a Fantasy Football legend. She also loved food, dancing, and her big screen TV.
In addition to her parents, of Boston, Deborah leaves her sister, Jennifer Chin and her husband Morteza S. Moosavizadeh of Winchester; two brothers, Alan and his wife Paula Chin of Canton, MA and Fred Chin of Lynn. Deborah is further survived by several nieces and nephews and her “families” and friends. She had two families. She also leaves her “adopted” mother #2 and father #2, Samuel and Noelle Cooper, and a sister, Cyndi Kelso and her husband William Kelso and family.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Sat., Dec. 19 from 12-3PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Flowers will be accepted. Charitable donations are not requested. Burial will take place in Newton Cemetery.
