Mrs. Mary Cioffi, age 85, of Medford formerly of East Boston, passed away Friday following a lengthy illness at the Penacook Place Nursing Home in Haverhill. Mrs. Cioffi was born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinetta Voto. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph N. Cioffi. Mrs. Cioffi was extremely devoted to her family and enjoyed sewing and cooking. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mary´s memory to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701 or to the Penacook Place Resident Activity Fund, 150 Water St. Haverhill, MA 01830.
Mrs. Cioffi is survived by her son Joseph Cioffi of Grantham, NH and three daughters, Joanne Manship and Marie Cioffi both of Haverhill and Karen Neve of Boxford. She is also survived by nine loving grandchildren and six loving great grandchildren. Mrs. Cioffi is the cherished sister of Margaret Saletta of Weymouth, Rose Modica and Josephine Forgione of East Boston, the late Jenny Kelleher, Antoinetta Ruggieiro, Alfred, Ralph and Salvatore Voto.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Tuesday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church 779 Fellsway, Medford at 9 AM. Realtives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. VisitingServices will cocnlude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
