Rita G. (Burke) Macklin, 89 of Andover died on Friday December 11, 2009 at Wingate at Andover. Mrs Macklin was born and raised in Lawrence and lived in Andover for many years. She was a member of St Augustine Church, Andover where she was involved with The Prayer Ministry of the church.
The widow of Francis G. Macklin, her family members include her son, Frank and his wife, Mary and her daughters, Kathleen and her husband, Daniel, Patricia and her husband, Kenneth, Mary Rose and her husband, Paul and Susan and her husband, Alan and her grandchildren, Daniel, Kerry, Jason, Wendy, Susan and David and her great grandchildren, Victor, Macklin, Zephyr, Evan, Abby, Katie and Macklin and her godchild, Louise and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday December 15, 2009 from 4 to 7pm. at The Charles Dewhirst Andover Funeral Home, 33 Pearson St., Andover. A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday December 16 at 10:30 am in St. Augustine Church, Andover. The burial will be in St Augustine Cemetery, Andover.
