Irving Charles Stillman, 91, of North Stonington passed away quietly Sunday, December 13 with his family by his side.
He was the loving husband of Cecile (Stedman) Stillman to whom he was married 66 years.
Born in Ledyard, Dec. 10, 1918, the son of Irving Timothy and Nancie (Brown) Stillman. He was predeceased by all his siblings. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Cecile Diane Saxton of Derby Line, VT and Prudence Williams and her husband Wayne of North Stonington, his seven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great children.
He worked at many jobs during his lifetime finally retiring from the State of CT DOT in 1978.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held 5 PM, Friday, Dec. 18, at the Old Mystic Baptist Church, Shewville Rd., Old Mystic. There will be no calling hours.
