Joanne Cappello, 65, of Malden, died December 10, 2009, at home after a short battle with cancer. She will lovingly be remembered as a woman whose biggest passion and love was for her family. Beloved sister of Philip Cappello and his wife Patty of Malden. Loving “auntie” to nieces, Michelle, Sherri, Bobbi-Ann, Jaclyn, Jean, and great auntie to Nicholas as well as all who loved her. Ms. Cappello is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins who will miss her deeply. Ms. Cappello worked at Gillette in South Boston for many years and more recently at Home Depot in Somerville and A.C. Moore in Somerville. A celebration mass was held at the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 9 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended.
