WORCESTER___Thomas P. Markiewicz, 54, of Worcester, died Friday December 11, 2009 in Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester after a battle with Brain Cancer.
Tom leaves his daughters, Angela M. Germain and her husband Thomas of Spencer and Lisa A. Markiewicz of Worcester; his father, Richard H. Markiewicz and his wife Patricia, his brothers, Richard J. Markiewicz, and Paul Markiewicz and his wife Laurie, two grandchildren, Brenden Kane and Addison Germain, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Tom also leaves his partner of 20 years, Jean Prizio of Worcester with whom he lived, her daughters Jennifer and Nicole and her grandchildren. Tom was born in Worcester son of the late Teresa J. (Pietrewicz) Markiewicz and graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade High School. He worked at several area companies. Tom’s family would like to thank the staff at Jewish Healthcare Center and Jewish Home Hospice for their loving care during his illness.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, December 14 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester followed by a funeral service at 5:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be private and at a later date.
