Funeral services for Ramona Hobbs Hobby, 74, of Ashburn will be held Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dakota Baptist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Hobby died Friday at Tift Health Care in Tifton following an extended illness.
Mrs. Hobby was born in Turner County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Mallie K. & Mary Julia Harris Hobbs. She was a member of the Dakota Baptist Church. She was a retired laboratory and X-Ray technician. She was a long time employee of the Turner County Hospital and Crisp Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Hobby is survived by her son and daughter in law, Scott & Beth Hobby and two grandchildren, Tyler & Kaleigh Hobby all of Ashburn. Also surviving is one brother and sister in law, Marvin & Emily Hobbs of Ashburn and her nieces and nephew Tami Manders, Ginger Brown, Mickie Hobby, Mike Hobby and Mona Morris all of Ashburn, Ga.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
