Obituary

Charlton – Edward J. Gingras, 61, of Charlton died on Wednesday, December 9th after being stricken ill.

Mr. Gingras was born in Worcester son of the late Edward and Francoise (Racine) Gingras and leaves two sisters Jeanne Cloutier of Auburn and Claire Perreault of Worcester and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

Edward is a graduate of Holy Name High School and Quinsigamond Community College and also attended Worcester State College. He is a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Gingras worked as a computer operator for the Staples Company for the past 10 years and previously worked as a supervisor for the former New England Power Company. He was an antique car enthusiast and also enjoyed basketball and golf.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 12th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church 35 Hamilton St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home on Friday, December 11th.
