MYSTIC: Lydia Grace Gray, 89, passed away September 10, 2003, at Pendleton Healthcare in Mystic, Connecticut where she had resided since 1997. Miss Gray was born in New London and was the daughter of the late William Augustus and Daisy Bell Gray.
She attended school in Groton and was a graduate of Gordon College in Boston, MA.Miss Gray retired from St. Frances Hospital in Hartford. . She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Hartford, CT.
Lydia was predeceased by her brother Francis Gray, her sister Charlotte Holmes and her nephew William Holmes. She is survived by her brother Jackson Gray of Anna Maria, Fla., nephews George Holmes of Niantic, CT. Sidney Holmes of Hamden, CT. and her niece Dorothy Orkney Wickenheiser of N. Reddington Beach, Fla.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 17 at 10:00 a.m. at theDinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl St. in Historic downtown Mystic.
