Obituary

Frederick W. “Fritz” Schoaf, 83 of Brockton died Tuesday December 8, 2009 at The Guardian Center in Brockton where he received exceptional care with respect and dignity. He was the beloved husband of Irene (Mulligan) Schoaf for 56 years. Fred was born in Moneson, PA and raised and educated in Milton, MA. He graduated from Milton High School and is a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force. He also attended Boston University. Mr. Schoaf was a self employed Automotive Tool and Equipment Salesman for 55 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Thomas of Brighton, Ellen Godden of Stoughton, Michael and his wife Lisa of Raynham. He was also the father of the late Anne (Schoaf) Bifano. He leaves eight grandchildren, Michael and Daniel Bifano of Ann Arbor, MI, Jeannine Sutherland of Seline, MI, Katherine Bifano-Gannon of Ann Arbor, MI, Jessica Schoaf and Haley Godden both of Stoughton and Craig and Cory Schoaf both of Raynham, also leaves three great grandchildren, Caelin, Jordan and Rori. He was the brother of John Schoaf of NC.

Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday from 3-7pm with a Prayer Service from 6:30 to 7pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Fred to The Guardian Center, Patients Activity Fund, 888 No. Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.
