
Mr. Robert T. Phipps, of Taunton, died Friday, December 4 in the Charleton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Esther M.(Bourget) Phipps. He was born 61 years ago in Taunton, the son of George E. Phipps
and the late Dorothy (Haradon) Viera. He was educated in Taunton, having graduated from Taunton High School and also graduated from Bristol Community College in Fall River. He was a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed
as a truck driver for the Simpson Spring Beverage Co. of Easton for 30 years. Mr. Phipps was a member of the Teamsters. He enjoyed exercising at the Y.M.C.A. in Taunton, travelling with his wife and visiting Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. He was a member of
St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Taunton.
In addition to his wife, of Taunton, and father, of California, he leaves:

Mr. Phipps was also the brother of the late William Viera of Florida.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Saturday, December 12, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday,
