Anthony G. Paiva, age 67, of Somerset, passed away Dec. 7, 2009 at home after a lengthy illness. He was husband of Sandra (Gagnon) Paiva and son of the late Antone and Lenora (Rego) Paiva. Anthony was a retired Manager at UPS and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his 3 children: Michael Paiva of Fall River, Sandra Paiva-Silva & her husband George of Swansea and Christine Paiva of Shelbyville, KY; 2 grandchildren: Paige Silva & Michael Anthony Paiva; 2 siblings: Leonard A. Paiva of Swansea & Lenora Souza of Fall River and several nieces & nephews.
His calling hours will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Thursday from 4-8 P.M. with a service at 7 P.M. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Outreach 502 Bedford St., Fall River, MA
