BALDWIN, III, LAURIE EUGENE
Laurie Eugene “Buddy” Baldwin, III, 70, of Summerville, husband of Ruth Harrison Baldwin, died Saturday, December 5, 2009 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 1 o’clock at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 316 W. Carolina Ave., Summerville. Burial will be private.
Mr. Baldwin was born August 3, 1939 in Charleston, son of the late Laurie E. Baldwin, Jr., and Lillian Rodgers Baldwin. Mr. Baldwin graduated from St. Paul’s High School class of 1957 and Clemson University, class of 1962. He retired after 30 years as a Claims Dept. Manager for Allstate Insurance Company serving North Carolina and Georgia.

Survivors, including his wife, are one daughter; Lisa Furr (Mickey) of Mooresville, NC and two sons; Laurie E. Baldwin, IV (Sally) of Waxhaw, NC and Joseph H. Baldwin of Fort Mill, SC, four grandchildren and one brother; James “Rod” Baldwin (Cindy) of Summerville.
