Donald E. DiNapoli of Reading formerly of Woburn, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009. He was 94 years of age.
Born in Woburn, he was the loving son of the late Louise (Bowe) and Pasquale DiNapoli of Woburn. Donald was a warm and loving husband, father and grandfather, he was very religious and devoted to his Family and God. He will be sadly missed.
During WWII, Donald proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Army.
Donald was a member of Reading Knights of Columbus, Council 1031, 4th Degree and a Member of Retired Men’s Club of Wakefield.
He was the loving husband of the late Anne (Caulfield) DiNapoli. Devoted father of the late Louise DiNapoli. He is survived by Anne Emmerich, MD and her husband Marc Emmerich, MD of Winchester. Cherished grandfather of Adrienne and Beryl Emmerich of Winchester. Dear brother of the late John, Christina, Julia and Adelpha.
Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING, Monday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Donald’s Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 9 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Sunday from 5-7 pm in the funeral home. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden St. Interment with Military Honors at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
