Dorothy F. "Ma Potter" (Lee) Potter, age 71, of Fair Acres Lane, Mystic, passed away early Friday morning, December 4th at The Westerly Hospital with her family and friends by her side.
She was born in Mystic during the 1938 hurricane.
She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Albert Potter III whom she married in Lantern Hill. Dorothy loved to go to the Waterford Speedbowl to watch her son, Al and his friends race on Wild wacky Wednesday.
She was fun, loving, and caring to all. Her family and friends will miss the July 4th picnics and her famous clam choder.
Dorothy is also survived by her son, Albert S. Potter IV; daughter Patricia Siegel and her husband John; her stepdaughter Doreen Densmore; her brother, John Lee; sister Alice Fantacci and husband Lou, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brother, Walt, Jim, and Earl.
A Graveside committal service will be conducted at Elm Grove Cemetery, Rte. 27, Mystic on Saturday at 10:30am. There are no visiting hours.
