OBITUARY
Westminster, Ft. Myers, Fl.
Marjorie (Kenney) Carter, 96, formerly of Westminster died Sunday
November 29, at Joann's Hospice House in Bonita Springs, Fl.
Marjorie was born in Lunenburg, January 22, 1913, the daughter of Leon
W. and Gertrude A. (Stevens) Kenney. She grew up in Fitchburg and
graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1931. She was employed for
many years at Paragon Plastics in Leominster.
Marjorie was a former member of Christ Church in Fitchburg. She was a
member of the North American Family Camping Association, NAFCA, a
charter member of the Squaw No Cook Chapter #30 of Fitchburg and
Leominster.
Marjorie leaves her daughters and sons-in-law Judith and Gerald White of
Rutland, Ma. and Ft. Myers, Fl. and Ann and George Kinney of Ashby and
Ft. Myers, Fl. She also leaves her grandchildren, Robert and William
Hines, Rene LeBlanc Jr. and William LeBlanc, Laura LeBlanc, Rita Koger,
Heather Rossi, Henry and Barbara LeBlanc. Eighteen great grandchildren
and two great great grandchildren.
Marjorie's husband Norman Shaw Carter died May 20, 1973. Her brother
Leon Kinney Jr and her sisters Rachel Hill and Priscilla Hamilton
predeceased her.
A funeral service for Marjorie will be held on Thursday December 10 at
11:00 A.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Fitchburg. Burial will
follow in Woodside Cemetery in Westminster. A calling hour will be from 10
to 11 A.M. in the funeral home.
