Michael J. Bicchieri, Sr., 88, of Manchester , NH , passed away on Wednesday November 4, 2009 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester following a short illness.
Michael was born, raised and educated in Boston , MA . He served with the United States Navy during WWII. He worked as a pipe fitter for many years for the Local 537 prior to his retirement. In his free time, Michael enjoyed woodworking.
He is predeceased by his wife, Adeline (Buonaugurio) Bicchieri and a grandson, Christopher Michael Bicchieri. He leaves his children, Michael J. Bicchieri and his wife Nikki of Londonderry, NH and Mary Gliss and her husband Thomas of Salem, NH, a sister, Laura Anderson and her husband Coleman of Avon, MA, 10 grandchildren, Michael Bicchieri III and his wife Julie, Stephen Bicchieri and his wife Katie, Jeffrey and Nicole Bicchieri, Michelle Tucker and her husband Marshall, Thomas Gliss and his wife Ana, Timothy, Robert and Jeremy Gliss, 5 great-grandchildren, Kaylee Ann and Kirsten Tucker, Michael Christopher, Mason James and Ava Mae Bicchieri, a dear friend, Elise San Antonio of Manchester, NH and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday November 9th at the Goundrey and Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem , NH . A Funeral Mass in his honor will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph ’s Church, Salem . Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery , Salem .
