Jeanne A. Holubesko, 87, of Flat St. Cumberland, formerly of Central St. Manville, died Monday evening at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Frank Holubesko.
Born in Manville, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Marie–Louise (Leduc) Vinet. She was a resident of Manville for most of her life.
Mrs. Holubesko worked for the Manville Jenckes mill and Ann & Hope for many years.
Jeanne enjoyed a full and active retirement with her wide circle of friends. She could often be found participating in many seniors activities including shopping trips, visits to casinos, and playing bingo.
Jeanne will be remembered as a classy lady who was often seen sporting her trademark high heels. Above all she was a devoted wife and mother and she cherished time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy J. Cipriano, and her husband Mathew, of Manville, and Elaine Recore, and her husband Omer, of Milford, three grandchildren, Mathew Cipriano III of Albion, Pamela Shayer of North Smithfield, and Ashley Recore of Milford, two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Ethan Shayer. Jeanne was predeceased by all her siblings, including 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Her funeral will be Friday at 9:00am from the Menard Funeral Home, 71 Central St., Manville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours are Friday morning from 8:30 -9:30 am prior to Mass. Memorial donations may be made to VNA of RI, 475 Kilvert St., Suite 400, Bldg.
