Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Edith Stein Church at 9 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Obituary
Mr. Brady died Saturday at his home in Belleair Beach after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Brockton, son of the late Philip A., Sr. and Ida M. (LaVigne) Brady. He attended Brockton schools, graduated from Brockton High School in the class of 1935,and later from Bentley College with a degree in business administration.
During WW II he served in the US Army.
He was a professional musician, playing saxophone for several various bands and orchestras. He was the founder and owner of Brady Auto Supply, Inc. from 1952 until his retirement in 1980. While a resident of Brockton, he was a communicant of Saint Edwards church as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus.He enjoyed music swimming as well as was an avid reader.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Elaine Koors of Millersville, Maryland, and Brenda Boyce of Andover, 2 sons, Patrick Brady of Marshfield and James Brady of Stoughton, 6 grandchildren as well as one niece.
