Anne M. (Watterson) Chandler, 92 years old, widow of the late Paul Chandler who died in 1995, died Tuesday December 1 at Wingate at Lowell.
Born in Lowell on July 28, 1917, she was a daughter of the late James and Rose (Reilly) Watterson and was educated in the Lowell schools. She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.
In her younger years, Mrs. Chandler was a millworker in various shoe mills in the Lowell area. She and her late husband Paul moved from Lowell to Gilford, NH where they spent their summers and wintered in Florida. Mrs. Chandler was a former member of St. Michael’s Church.
She is survived by a sister, Theresa (Watterson) Marion of Lowell; three nieces, Patricia O’Connor of Lowell, Kathleen Grenier of Pawling NY and Kathleen Marion of Somerville; three nephews, Richard D. Morrill and his wife Catherine of Wells, ME, George Morrill of Lawrence and Harold McGrade of MD; a brother in law, Howard Chandler and his wife Donna of Atkinson, NH; a sister in law, Janice Carson of Phoenix, AZ and many grand nieces and nephews,
Mrs. Chandler was also the mother of the late Judith Ann Chandler and sister of the late Edward Watterson, Mary Ann (Watterson) Morrill, Catherine (Watterson) McGrade and Joseph Watterson.
CHANDLER-Relatives and friends are asked to gather Sat. December 5th at 11 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH for her Funeral Mass. There will be no procession from the Funeral Home. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oblate Infirmary Fund, P.O. Box 419, Tewksbury, MA. 01876.
