Alice G. Gott, 87, of Chester, NH, died Friday, November 27, 2009 in her home. Mrs. Gott was born in Manchester, NH on September 3, 1922, a daughter of the late Scott and Geneva (Russell) Wheeler. She attended the Senior Citizens in Chester.
She is survived by one son, Ken Gott of Goffstown, NH; one daughter, Nancy Baldwin of Ocala, FL; six grandchildren, Michelle Baldwin of Ohio, Anthony Baldwin of CT, William Baldwin of NH, Arlene Gage of Goffstown, Kenneth Gott and Steven Gott, both of Manchester; seventeen great grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Stewart of San Diego, CA, and Lucy Wilson of Huntington Beach, CA; one brother, Armen Vargabedian of Goffstown; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Gott, and a granddaughter, Melissa Robinson.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Thursday, December 3rd at 11:00am in the Candia Congregational Church, 1 South Rd., Candia, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH is handling the arrangements.
