CREWS - Loraine Crews, 82, of Yulee, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 26, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach. She was native of Hickox, GA and a long time resident of Yulee, FL. She was a member of the Bailey Road Church of God and enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Crews; daughter, Carolyn Whitley; and a son, Charles Crews. Survivors include three sons, Thomas J. Crews (Beverly), Kenneth W. Crews (Freida) and Kenneth Roy Crews; a brother, Willie Crews (Mary); three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Pastor Buddy Kaleem officiating. Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral Home. Arrangements by Green Pine Funeral Home, Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Yulee.
