CROWE, LOIS MARION TAYLOR
Lois Marion Taylor Crowe, 84, of Summerville, widow of William Henry Crowe, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Life Care Center of Charleston.
Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 3 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville. Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. A visitation will be held this evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 o’clock.
Mrs. Crowe was born June 15, 1925 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Ralph Taylor and Marion Brotherson Taylor. She attended the schools of New Bedford and attended a technical college in New York. She was a Rainbow Girl and participated in the High School Band. She was a girl scout leader, church circle member and was involved with the senior citizens. She was a substitute teacher for Knightsville Elementary School. She was a member of Knightsville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons; Curtis B. Crowe (Donna) of Summerville and Craig T. Crowe (Sharon) of Summerville, two daughters; Cheryl C. Myers (Joseph) of Summerville and Claudia Crawford (Steven) of Cottageville, one sister; Barbara Taylor Scott (William) of Pennsylvania, one sister in law; Janet Taylor of Massachusetts, two grandsons; Brian Myers, Sr. (Nicole) of Summerville and Eric Crowe (Melissa) of Givhans, four granddaughters; Lori Myers Miles (Gene) of Summerville, Rachel Crowe Blackwell (David) of Mt. Pleasant and Danielle and Taylor Crowe of Summerville, three great grandsons; Brian Myers, Jr. and Christopher Miles of Summerville and Ethan Crowe of Givhans and three great granddaughters; Brittany Miles and Kelsey Myers of Summerville and Nora Blackwell of Mt. Pleasant.
