Michael C. DeClemente, 56, of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 28, 2009 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia (Capua) DeClemente.
Born in Attleboro, MA on January 10, 1953 he was the dear son of Louise A. (Scarpellini) DeClemente of Mansfield and the late Carl V. DeClemente.
Michael grew up in Mansfield, began his primary education at the Dominican Academy in Plainville and was a 1970 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro. He furthered his studies by attending Suffolk University.
Employed in the Computer Industry, Michael’s interests included traveling, reading and listening to music. For many years he had made his home in several towns throughout New England and had recently moved back to his native hometown of Mansfield. When younger and living in Mansfield, Michael had attended St. Mary’s Church.
In addition to his dear mother Louise he is survived by his son Joshua DeClemente, his sister Maria L. Emery and her husband James of Raynham and his step daughters Amanda Osborne and Brandy Osborne. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.
Prayer services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday December 3rd at 10:30 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday December 2nd from 5-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
