Phillip Gregory Latimore, 52, of Derry, died suddenly Thursday November 26th, 2009. Phillip was born in Wadley, GA to Harvie and Lessie (Spann) Latimore and has worked for many years as a computer operator for Fidelity Investments in Merrimack.
Phillip was very active in Derry youth sports and had coached both the Derry Demons and the Wolverines. He was a devoted family man and taught his two daughters how to fish and his son how to play football. He loved spending time with his wife, and children and most recently his grandson.
Mr. Latimore leaves his cherished wife of 25 years, Adine (Hobson) Latimore, their three loving children, Shari Hall of Manchester, Nichell and Emmanuel Latimore both of Derry and the new pride of the family, Phillip's grandson, Jonas Hall. He leaves his mother, Lessie Spann of Hyde Park, MA, along with his brother, Micheal Latimore of Boston, MA, sisters, Patricia Latimore of Milton, MA, Sonja Latimore of Dorchester, MA, Gail and Maria Latimore both of Hyde Park, MA, Angelina, Francina and Darcy Latimore all of the Boston area and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Andover Baptist Church, 7 Central St., Andover MA. The funeral service was held Thursday at 11am in the church. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in Derry, NH. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium is handling the arrangements.
