Mrs. Jacqueline (Verge) Sindoni, age 82, died Tuesday November 24, 2009, at home, surrounded by family, following a lengthy illness. Born in Portland, Maine, Jackie was raised in Everett, and was the beloved daughter of the late Idella (Boynton) and William S. Verge.
Jackie has been a Woburn resident for the last 53 years. She loved to travel, and wintered in Hollywood, Florida with her late husband Carmen "Charlie" Sindoni. They enjoyed participating in Son's of Italy events here in Woburn, but mostly enjoyed their family, especially their loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jackie is survived by her devoted children, Frank Sindoni and his wife Ann of Woburn, William Sindoni of NH, Joanne Cahalane and her husband Dan of Woburn and Charles Sindoni of Medford. Also survived by 10 loving grandchildren and 9 loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery.
