Louis N. Shapiro of Chelsea died on November 23, 2009 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He was 85 years old.
Louis was born in Chelsea where he resided for the majority of his life. He attended the Chelsea schools and high school. Louis was an Army World War Two Veteran. He was a night club owner whom loved to travel and was considered a gourmet chef.
Louis was the beloved fiancé of Levester Millsap and her children and grandchildren. He was the loving uncle of Lorraine Kushner, Janis Shapiro, Diane Groton, Iris and Sherry.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Cary Sq., Chelsea on Wednesday, November 25th at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Lynn. Donations in Louis’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
