Edward R. Low age 74 of Salem, NH, died Sunday at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended Lawrence public schools. He was a resident of Salem for the past 46 years.
Mr. Low was a retired self employed contractor, owning Edward Low Remodeling. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH, and the Derry Salem Elks Lodge, where he was a past officer, 6 year trustee, inner guard, and chaplain. He was in the US Marine Corps Reserves for 8 years. Mr. Low especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and Sunday drives to the ocean with his wife, Helen. He enjoyed working with his family on home remodeling projects as well as building furniture. He built model airplanes and boats and was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen M. (St. Hilaire) Low of Salem, NH

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 11 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
