Obituary

Joseph C. Conlon, 86, died Sunday, November 22, at the LifeCare Center in West Bridgewater after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Rita (Gray) Conlon. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Boston Schools. Mr. Conlon was a resident of Easton since 1978, previously living in Randolph for many years. He worked as a Cement Truck Driver for several years for several area shops, including Allied Concrete. Mr. Conlon was a member of the Teamsters Local 379 for many years. He was a horse enthusiast and was a lifelong owner of horses.

He is survived by his four nephews, Albert E. Conlon Jr and his wife Madelyn of Swansea, Stephen J. Conlon and his wife Nancy of Brockton, Douglas F. Conlon and his wife MaryEllen of Easton and Phillip T. Conlon and his wife Kimberly of Brockton. He was predeceased by his siblings Eileen Cunniff and Albert Conlon.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 10-11AM. Donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, 02215. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
