Smith, Eugene “Gene” Harvey, 72 of Louisville passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Baptist Hospital East.
He owned and operated Smith Imported Car Service which he founded in 1966.
He was a member of Jeffersontown United Methodist Church,and a member of the Jefferson County Sportman's Club.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Suzanne Buxe, sons David E. Smith (Annette)and Mark D. Smith (Denise).Seven grandchildren David P, Tyler G., Danielle, Joshua,
Nicholas, Kendyl, and Madison. A sister Wanda Troutman and Several Nieces and Nephews.
His Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown
9318 Taylorsville Rd.
Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
