PALM BEACH, FL … Roger Ronald Maltais, 75, of Riviera Beach, FL died Friday, November 13, 2009 after a long illness.
He was the widower of Joan C. (Fox) Maltais.
He died at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Palm Beach.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late Roger A. and Juliette A. (Maynard) Maltais and had lived in Florida since 1996.
He was an Inspector with the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles retiring in 1995 after 22 years of service.
Mr. Maltais was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include a son Nicholas A. Maltais and his wife Michelle M. of Tiverton, 2 sisters: Jeanne Garant of Port Jefferson, NY and Elaine Petterson of Camarillo, CA, 2 grandchildren: Nicholas and Zachary Maltais, several nieces and nephews.
