Obituary

Mildred A. (Nassif) Blakesley 80, a resident of Franklin since 1962, died Thursday November 19, 2009 at the Franklin Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Blakesley, who died in 1991.
Born in Boston, December 14, 1928 a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Kulokouskus) Nassif, she was raised and educated in Boston, and lived in the Roslindale section of the city for many years.
She retired in 1990 as a supervisor at the Wrentham State School, where she worked for more than 18 years.
She enjoyed spending time with family, antiques, auctions, and trips to Foxwoods.
She is survived by two sons Wayne Bryant of Reading, Ct and Charles J. Blakesley of Franklin, two daughters Patricia Wells of Florida and Donna Wiggin-Burke of Franklin, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Laurie R. Blakesley and the sister of the late Frank Nassif.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday November 24th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, (www.franklinfuneral.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10AM.
Interment will follow in the family lot at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are Monday from 4-8PM.
