Beatrice M. (Ouellette) Hebert, 97, of Westport died Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at home. She was wife of the late Arthur Hebert.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Louis J. and Marie L. (Masse) Ouellette, she was a lifelong resident of Westport. Mrs. Hebert was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport. Prior to retirement, she was a spool tender for various textile mills in Fall River. She was a member of the St. George Ladies Guild, the V.F.W. Ouellette Post #8502 Women’s Auxiliary and the Gold Star Wives in this area.
Survivors include a son: Arthur L. Hebert of Amherst, NH; 2 daughters: Beatrice M. Gagne of Tiverton and Doris Brisebois Silvia, with whom she lived, of Westport; 3 brothers: Rene J.M. Ouellette of Westport, Robert E. Ouellette of Westport and Armand R. Ouellette of Rockland, MA; a sister: Eva Sullivan of Middletown, RI; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Arthur Ouellette, Wilfred Ouellette, Albert Ouellette, Henry Ouellette and Delia Gagnon.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, November 23, 2009 at St. George Church, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be from 8:30 – 10:30 A.M. prior to the Mass at Potter Funeral Home.
Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
