Obituary

Annette L. (Forest) Simard, 83, formerly of 17 Davignon St., Pinardville died September 5, 2003, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Shawinigan Falls, Quebec, Canada on December 4, 1919, she was the daughter of Hector and Olivine (Forcier) Forest. She lived in Pinardville for most of her life.

She worked for Shortell Shoe Company, Bee Bee Shoe Company and in food services at St. Anselm College for many years.

Mrs. Simard had enjoyed card playing, walking and bowling. She was a member of Prime Time and had been selected as its Senior of the Month in February of 1992. She was also a longtime communicant of the former St. Edmond Church.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Muriel Simard and by a son, Ronald A. Simard.

The family includes her husband of 62 years, Leo L. Simard of Pinardville; three children, Roger G. Simard of Manchester, Richard R. Simard of Candia and Marie I. Drouin of Manchester; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Sylva “Sub” Forest of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday September 9, 2003 in the Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
