Jeannette Bales Paulk, 66, of Alapaha, died Monday, November 16, 2009, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with the Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Interment will follow in Paulk Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Paulk was born December 31, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Robert M. & Agnes Booth Bales. She lived in Alapaha for the past twenty-two years. Mrs. Paulk was a homemaker and drove a school bus for thirteen years in Berrien County. She was a member of the Ocilla Church of God, the Women’s Ministries and a former choir member.
Mrs. Paulk is survived by her husband, Jerry R. Paulk of Alapaha; son, Jerry Randall Paulk, Jr., of Alapaha; daughters and son-in-law, Donna Dubreuiel of Alapaha and Dianne & Rusty James of Fitzgerald; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sister & brother-in-law, Margaret Ann & D.R. Hall of Jacksonville, Fl. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
