Methuen, Ma. – Stella (Pashol) Despres, 97, died November 14, 2009 at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Stella was born in New York where she received her education, and was a former Lawrence native. She was the daughter of Constanty and Mary (Mitricka) Pashol.
For 15 years she was a valued employee of Western Electric of North Andover in electronics prior to her retirement.
Stella was considered by many as an exceptionally generous person.
The widow of Emile Despres survivors include her daughter and son –inlaw Mary and Patrick Parcell of Michigan, and her sister Anna Yrsha living in Vermont.
Survivors include 3 grandchildren Linda Stevenson of Methuen, Paula Parcell and Kellie Saker both of Michigan, and 1 greatgrandchild Crientin Lazzaro also of Michigan and several nieces and nephews.
Stella was predeceased by her daughter Constance and grandson Michael Stevenson.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock in Saint Monicas Church in Methuen with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday morning from 9:45 A.M. – 10:45 A.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
