Michael J. Bemis, 24, of Manchester died November 15, 2009 at Elliot Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Brooksville, FL on May 28, 1985, he was the son of David and Dorothy (Stavrou) Bemis. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mr. Bemis worked at Builders Insulation and Chem-Dry both in Manchester.
He volunteered at the building of the Manchester home featured on Extreme Makeover.
He enjoyed football and played baseball and soccer. He was an organ donor.
IN HIS LIFE: The family includes his mother, Dorothy Bemis and her companion, Kenneth Poulin, both of Manchester; two brothers, David L. Bemis and his fiancée, Tabatha Parker, both of Londonderry, and Kevin P. Bemis of Manchester; two nieces, Kelcea and Kyndra Bemis, and their mother, Ceirra Chamberlain; Michael's companion, Krystal Mailhot; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral ceremony was held Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.
