TEWKSBURY: Marie C. (DelGenio) Moore, age 64, a resident of Tewksbury for 42 years, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at home.
Born in Malden on February 8, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Graciano and Lucy(Repucci) DelGenio.
Marie was raised in Malden, attended Malden schools and graduated from Malden High School.
She resided in Winchester until moving to Tewksbury in 1967.
Marie was employed as a quality control inspector by the DRC Company in Wilmington until 2001.
She previously worked for the Raytheon Corporation and Wang Labs.
Marie enjoyed building and fixing computers, and playing computer and internet games.
In addition, she was an avid football fan and also loved working in her garden and caring for her two dogs Flame and Zena.
She is survived by three daughters, Julie Head of Tewksbury and her boyfriend Butch Abbott, Patricia Hagan and her husband Daniel of Hudson, NH and Donna Laffredo and her husband Michael of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Rebecca and Loranzy Head, John Coates, Jackie Constantino, Jon and Jenn Silvestri, Danielle Hagan and Ryle Laffredo; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph DelGenio and his wife Mary of Danvers ; one sister, Lucille Ostuni and her companion John Daluz of N. Reading; also many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 17th, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by prayers to be offered at the funeral home.
