Cheryl A. (Sylvia) Blake, 43, of New Bedford died September 4, 2003 at home after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was the wife of Gary A. Blake and daughter of George P. Sylvia of New Bedford and the late Dolores (Sylvia) Sylvia.
Cheryl was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
Cheryl was employed with Titleist for over 17 years.
She participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for several years and had her first team this year earning the Silver Award.
Cheryl enjoyed her children, family, music, dancing, collecting angels, the outdoors in the snow and at the beach and hosting demonstration parties in her home for several companies.
Survivors include her husband; her father; 2 sons, Gary A. Blake, Jr. and Brandon M. Blake, both of New Bedford; 2 brothers, George M. Sylvia of Norfolk, MA and Cory F. Sylvia, and his wife Debbie L., of Topeka, Kansas; a sister, Cathy M. Randall, and her husband William E., of New Bedford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment St. John's Cemetery.
