Doris Audrey Davis McGilloway, 89, Clarksville, died Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born December 15, 1919 in Montgomery County. She was the daughter of the late Tommy Foster Davis and Virginia Grace Elliott Davis. She was retired from the Civil Service at Ft. Campbell. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Beachaven Garden Club, Bridge Club, D.A.R. and Women's Club. She was also very active in the loaves and fishes Soup Kitchen. Survivors include three nieces; Elaine Price, Claudia Davis and Ginger Williams. Three nephews; Mike Davis, John Davis and Tom Davis. Nine loving great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas P. McGilloway, three brothers; Elliott Davis, Gilford Davis and Foster Davis. She is also preceded by one sister; Marie Dunn. Pallbearers will be Mike Davis, John Davis, John Davis, Jr., Brian Price, Eric Williams, Tom Davis and Mike Williams.
