PLYMOUTH – Attorney Marvin H. Cohen, the husband of Janice D. (Keough) Cohen, died at Jordan Hospital, Plymouth on Nov. 12, 2009.
He was 71.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Martin and Estelle (Hirschman) Cohen.
Educated in Connecticut schools, he was a University of CT graduate; later receiving a law degree from B.U. Atty. Cohen practiced law for over 30 years, in Boston, Taunton, and most recently, Plymouth.
A past master of the Noodle’s Island Lodge in Boston, he had a great love for life, a great need to help others, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Besides his wife of Plymouth, he leaves four sons, Michael Cohen of Fort Myers, FL, Richard Cohen of Natick, Paul Yetsook of MD, and Justin Yetsook of Hanover; two daughters, Paula Hoekzema of Boca Raton, FL and Chantelle Yetsook of Taunton; a sister, Jo Linda Keith of Belmont; a step-brother and sister, Jerry and Alice Leib; fourteen grandchildren; and two nieces, Tanya and Emily.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday Nov.17th at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 16th from 5 to 8 p.m.
