Mrs. Williamina A. “Mina” (Rae) Chmielinski 70 of Franklin, died Thursday Nov. 12th, 2009 at the Harrigton House in Walpole, following a short illness. She was the wife of the late Donald J. Chmielinski, who died in 2002.
Born in Boston, January 19, 1939 a daughter of the late Edwin W. and Pauline M. (White) Rae, she was raised and educated in Dedham, lived in Norfolk for many years, before moving to Franklin in 1977.
Mrs. Chmielinski was employed as an administrator for the AT&T Telephone Co. for 39 years.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, enjoyed travel, reading and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
She is survived by 2 sons: Donald W. of Franklin, Christopher J. and his wife Leslie of Natick, 2 daughters: Paula M. Coffey and her husband Ray of Kennebunk, Maine, Diane R. Homand and her husband Kris of Millville, a sister: Pauline Wadman of Canton, and 5 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. www.franklinfuneral.com with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
