Obituary

Mrs. Frances J. (Paganini) Baima, a resident of Jackson, New Hampshire, formerly of Medford and beloved wife of the late Charles J. Baima, died at her home on Monday, November 9, 2009. She was 90 years old.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on September 12, 1919, she was the beloved daughter of the late Lorenzo and Clotilde (Regattieri) Paganini. Mrs. Baima was a graduate of Somerville High School and had worked at Quinzani’s Bakery in Boston, where she met her loving husband, Charles. She worked for Dr. Nickerson at MIT in the BirdsEye Flash Freezing Lab and then was a medical secretary for Dr. Warren Johnson in Boston. She was also employed by Dr. Richard Brown in Medford for many years.
In her spare time Frances loved to travel to Europe and especially to the Lake Como region of Northern Italy.
Frances had also been a communicant of St. Raphael Church in Medford.
She will be very sorely missed by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Charles L. and his wife Jennifer Baima of Wilmington and Lawrence P. Baima and his partner Leslie Fletcher, both of Jackson, N.H., three grandchildren; Stephanie and Daniel Baima and Jake Leary and one son-in-law; Joseph Leary of Medford. Frances was also the mother of the late Barbara Leary and sister of the late Catherine Simeone.
Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Friday at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 514 High St., Medford at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held Thursday from 3 to 7 PM. Interment was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
